September 2020 marked the 10th anniversary of Harbour Church in Falmouth. As part of the celebration, they wanted to come up with a new visual look and feel for the years ahead whilst thinking through the church's vision and values.

Working alongside communication designer and photographer Hannah Woolley, we started by running a communications workshop to get to the heart of what the group is all about. I worked on putting together the church's vision, values and tone of voice whilst Hannah created the brand and visual guidelines. We came up with a flexible identity, focussing more on photography to express the church community with a collection of logo elements to be used in different contexts.

Due to the Covid restrictions, it wasn't possible for Harbour Church to meet in person for the 10th anniversary. We came up with the concept of a physical magazine, which was mailed out to all the church members. Working alongside writer Justin Prinsloo and Hannah Woolley on design, we curated and created a beautiful collection of stories and images that communicated the 10 year journey of the church.

It was a genuine joy working with Bethia as she undertook the project to give the Harbour Church a visual refresh as part of our 10 year anniversary. Bethia worked in such a skilful way to tease out what we were really about as a church and she came alongside me and my team with energy, creativity, enthusiasm and professionalism. Bethia has an incredible work rate and it really felt like a lot was achieved in a short amount of time. I can’t recommend Bethia enough!
