Lecturing on 'Creative Campaigning' at Falmouth University
Falmouth University invited me back for a third year, to lecture on ‘Creative Campaigning’ for the BA Journalism and Communications students.
After giving an overview of my background, I went on to unpack the strategies behind planning and delivering a creative campaign. Having determined a brand’s target audience and key aims, I talked through the process of conceptualising an idea, working with the right people to deliver the project and putting measures in place to track a campaign’s effectiveness.
For the rest of the afternoon, I worked with the group to come up with their own campaigns to reduce student loneliness on campus. Each group pitched their ideas to a panel, providing the opportunity for critical feedback and campaign development.
