Cornwall 365 at the Royal Cornwall Show

I had a ball at The Royal Cornwall Show last week, helping Cornwall 365 with their Culture Club marquee and working with the team to promote Cornish culture, heritage and creativity.

We had Mark Trevethan, the Cornish Language Lead from Cornwall Council, teaching our visitors Cornish phrases. WildWorks theatre were on hand to help people ‘knit your bit’ for a giant knitted torpedo in their 100: UnEarth production. Dressed in WW1 soldier uniforms, The Trench Bodmin were joining in the fun to promote their large-scale immersive theatre production. The Hall for Cornwall team were also on hand to display their refurbishment plans over the next two years.

As part of the weekend’s activities, we ran a competition giveaway to encourage newsletter signups and spread the word about the work of Cornwall 365.

Bethia’s friendly, easy-going and professional nature meant we asked her to be a part of our Culture and Heritage marquee at the Royal Cornwall Show. She had to engage with the public and help with all aspects of running a busy, interactive, creative space. We are always happy to work with Bethia.
